A super-tea of unparalleled refinement, brimming with health-enhancing properties.
In 1883, amidst the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean, emerged Europe's oldest tea plantation. Nestled on the island of São Miguel, this distinguished region was blessed with the convergence of ideal climatic conditions, giving rise to a tea of unparalleled refinement.
A sensory journey with our exclusive loose-leaf tea, cultivated in the nutrient-rich volcanic soils of the oldest and greatest tea plantation in Europe, in the Azores archipelago.
The power of our super-tea, naturally fueled with 70% more L-Theanine than regular green tea. Backed by science for improved brain health and significant anti-aging effects.
The gift of health and performance, in a premium loose-leaf tea whose elegant, easy-to-love profile carries bright and subtly nutty vegetal notes.

The result of a four-year scientific project, our green tea is cultivated to reach L-Theanine levels around 70% higher than any other tea of the plantation. Grown, harvested and tinned by hand on São Miguel.

A luminous infusion with a subtly nutty finish, bright on the palate and calm in effect. The same first-flush leaf the plantation has perfected across more than a century of harvests.
Steep gently, and it rewards you each time.

Every leaf is grown, certified and handled under the controls of Europe's most exacting food and organic regulations.

Vyda was founded in 2023 by two friends, João Medeiros and Pedro Medeiros, with a single intention: to give the finest products of the Azores, their homeland, the standing they deserve beyond the islands.
João Medeiros, founder and chief executive of SVW, leads Vyda. A lifelong lover of tea and an advocate of health-conscious living, he named it for the way it echoes vida, the Portuguese word for life. What began as a passion project became a pursuit of the most nutritious tea in the world, kept as beautifully as it is grown.

Vyda is made in limited quantities each season, for private clients and for a small number of partners who present it in their own establishments.
